Peter Elson, Senior Research Associate with the Institute for Nonprofit Studies at Mount Royal College is joined by Robert Jones (Mount Royal) and Andres Gouldsbrough (Concordia) in this Social Economy Breakfast Lecture. Elson and colleagues have partnered with the Ontario Nonprofit Network to do a comparative analysis of the social economies in Ontario and Quebec and will share their finding on five research areas:
* legislative frameworks and limitations
* access to capital and operating funds
* access to training and developmental support
* sectoral representation
* research infrastructure
The presenters will share some of their initial insights, respond to questions, and take suggestions on ideas which could be included in the remainder of this collaborative social economy/ ONN research project.
