To find out the answer to this question, ONN pulled together a group of people from across the sector that were involved in trying to figure out the HST for their sub-sector or were interested to find out the answer to this question. Joining the group were a tax expert and a lawyer who helped us navigate the confusion and assess the overall impact on the sector. Our HST Constellation, or work group, wrote a detailed brief which has been submitted to various government ministries including Revenue, MCI, Culture and the Premier's Office. The brief explains how we think the sector will be impacted and makes eight recommendations on which we hope to see some action.
