The federal budget failed to deliver for nonprofits. What will the provincial government do? The verdict is in on the federal budget. And the news, for the most part, is not good. The federal budget does not do enough to provide Canadian residents with necessities including food security, mental health services and credit counseling. While ONN will continue to lobby the federal government for support for the nonprofit sector, we are now turning our attention to the Ontario government, the largest funder of social services. For more on ONN's reaction to the federal budget and our work with the provincial government as we move forward, click here.
